There are two ways students are placed on a capstone team:
During capstone project advisors’ office hours, students will have a special opportunity to ask advisors questions and learn more information about proposals that piqued their curiosity after reviewing the final project proposals that will be released to students at the end of July. This virtual event allows students to meet and network with faculty, industry, and partnering organizations that have proposed a project.
After office hours, students rank projects that they find most interesting. While everyone gets a project, the process can be competitive—for students and advisors alike.
