Affinity Group Leader - Semiconductors
Hi, I’m Tofic!
I grew up in Belgium and moved to Canada to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering at McGill University. There, I held a Teaching Assistant position in Electronics for one academic year. Having also completed two internships in the hardware industry, one in VHDL Design & Validation and another as Applications Developer, I gained appreciation for the intricacies of the semiconductor industry and its impact on society, the economy, and global dynamics.
Now at UC Berkeley’s MEng EECS program, concentrating in Physical Electronics and Integrated Circuits, I serve as a Semiconductor Affinity Group Leader. My goal is to help build a space where people can discover this fascinating field, exchange ideas, and find inspiration through shared learning and connection.
