My name is Randi Roy I am a current MEng student in the Bioengineering department, with a concentration in Synthetic Biology. I am a recent graduate at the University of Manitoba in Canada, where I completed my BSc. Microbiology. I have extensive experience in both academic and industry-based research with interests in synthetic biology, metabolic engineering and commercialization/entrepreneurship in science. As an affinity leader, I am excited to connect with the cohort and provide opportunities for students to learn more about Biotech & Life sciences to help shape their future career trajectories. Outside of academics, I enjoy singing classical music, hiking and pickleball.
