Hello there! I’ve been with the EECS department as their Masters Programs Advisor since October 2015, and have been on campus overall here at UC Berkeley for a little over 7 years. I speak English and conversational Mandarin Chinese, being a second-generation Asian American. So far I’ve traveled all over Asia, having been to China, Korea, Taiwan, and most recently Japan. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of California San Diego with a BS in Management Science, then started out as a work study in their Jacobs School of Engineering there and the rest is history! I have been involved with higher education ever since, and I love promoting student engagement and success through advising and programming. My professional interests are exploring a wide range of topics including intercultural communication, student diversity/equity, and increasing institutional transparency and accountability. Personally, I am a big fan of basketball, the outdoors, and playing with my dog Hobbes. Come drop by Cory Hall to say hi!
