Amber Young

Amber Young is a Teaching Assistant for Teaching & Project Management at the Fung Institute. Previously, she was a NASA Space Technology & Graduate Research Fellow, leading robotics research inspired by nature. She earned her M.S. in Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley in 2024 and a B.S. in Physics from Yale University in 2021. Amber’s work bridges engineering and human-centered design, with experience in prototyping, UX evaluation, and creative technology.
