Valli is a current MEng student in the Electrical Engineering & Computer Science department with a specialization in Visual Computing & Computer Graphics. She is from Irvine, California and graduated from UC San Diego with a B.S. in Computer Engineering and a minor in Cognitive Science. She has software engineering internship experience in embedded systems and worked on a patent for a machine learning pipeline. She also enjoys the interdisciplinary aspect of engineering and this is what drew her to the MEng program at Berkeley. Valli hopes to expand her knowledge on current Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Generative AI applications through her courses and capstone project here. In addition to being a Student Ambassador, Valli is also one of the Artificial Intelligence Affinity Group Leads. In her free time, you can find her painting, graphic designing, cooking up new recipes, or trying new food and boba spots in Berkeley and the Bay Area!
