Prithvi Kewalramani

Affinity Group Lead - FinTech

Headshot of Prithvi Dinesh Kewalramani

Department: Industrial Engineering & Operations Research
Concentration: FinTech

Prithvi is a dedicated finance enthusiast currently pursuing the MEng in FinTech program in the IEOR department at Berkeley. He completed his undergraduate studies in 2023 at IIT Bombay in Aerospace Engineering, while also keeping an active interest in the fields of machine learning and finance.

Professionally, he has amassed experience in the finance and technology sectors. At Pantomath Capital Advisors, he automated portfolio evaluation strategies and developed a swing-trade stock selection algorithm that significantly outperformed market indices on a monthly basis. As a Trading Analyst at Axxela Research and Analytics, he specialised in algorithmic and discretionary trading, focusing on medium-frequency trading strategies. Additionally, during his 7 month stint as an ML-Research Intern Siemens Ltd., he worked on the explainability of object detection models, filing a provisional patent.

His passion lies at the intersection of finance and technology, with a keen interest in derivatives, fixed income markets, equities, and portfolio optimisation. Outside of his professional and academic pursuits, he enjoys watching football (Fútbol, not the American one), and is a loyal supporter of Arsenal FC.
