Prarthana is a bioengineer passionate about driving change and bringing clinical innovations to the patients that need them. In line with her passions, she is currently pursuing a Masters in Translational Medicine (MTM), a joint UC Berkeley and UCSF program. She pursued her B.S. in Bioengineering from UC San Diego, as an international student from the UAE. She then gained experience in the bio-analytical/in-vivo pharmacology space at Genentech, and later in the wearable medical device space at Dexcom. Having greatly enjoyed combining her passion for engineering, leadership, and innovation at her previous positions, as part of the MTM program this Fall, Prarthana hopes to diversify her skills, and gain the business and clinical knowledge required to pursue her interdisciplinary career goals. In her free time, she enjoys singing, exploring new places, new Netflix shows, and new foods.
