I’m a Master’s student in Operations Research at UC Berkeley. With a background in Computer Science, my interest lies in machine learning and AI, particularly in promoting fairness within these domains. Prior to joining Berkeley, I co-founded a company in India aimed at providing affordable credit to farmers, using technology as a catalyst for change. I’ve also had the privilege to work with Harvard’s Digital Value Lab, developing computer vision models based on satellite images. At Berkeley, I plan to continue honing my passion for deep learning, fostering an inclusive, equitable approach to AI. Outside academia, I enjoy playing tennis and basketball, as well as playing the tabla. Meeting new people and learning from their diverse experiences is something I genuinely love. I look forward to this journey at Berkeley, seizing every opportunity to learn, innovate, and contribute to our shared understanding of inclusive technology.
