
Matthew Rappaport is the General Partner of Future Frontier Capital (FFC), a pre-seed, frontier technology venture capital fund. Matthew co-founded IP Checkups in 2004, an intellectual property strategy and software firm where he managed hundreds of innovation projects for early-stage start-ups and large corporations. Matthew is Project manager for the Deep Tech Lab at the Haas School of Business. He teaches and mentors teams of graduate students from Berkeley Law, Haas School of Business, and the Fung Institute on real-world technology commercialization projects from Lawrence Berkeley National Labs and other UC-based start-ups. Every year since 2010, Matthew has been selected by his peers as a member of the IAM Strategy 300, a list of the world’s leading IP strategists.
