Jeev graduated with high honors in Information Technology from Asia’s Oldest Technical School – College of Engineering Guindy
at Madras, India. Jeev is super-excited about a future career in Quantitative Trading and Research. He is keen on applying his proficient mathematical skills to solve challenging problems across diverse financial markets. During his undergrad program, Jeev managed to found and run a micro-hedge fund focused on Options Trading. Jeev had also managed to pass the first-level examinations of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM) programs. Jeev is also a published author. He published his first book – “Derivatives for Dummies: A Beginner’s Guide to Forward Commitments and Contingent Claims” on Amazon Kindle in 2022. The book takes a storytelling-based approach to understanding Forwards, Calls, Puts & Insurances. Jeev is a recipient of 2 major grants. While in high school, he won the National Talent Search Exam Scholarship, a Life-Long Scholarship awarded by the Union Government of India to the top 1000 candidates from among a million aspirants. He has also been awarded the M.Eng. Opportunity Grant at UC Berkeley. Jeev has served as a student leader and representative at various levels ranging from high school to University. He is an accomplished Quizzer, Debater and Biker. Jeev is a skilled wildlife photographer, environmental activist and bird-watcher with a keen passion for conserving the planet.
