Prior to coming to Berkeley for my master’s, I received a BS in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College and worked as an R&D engineer at a small biotech company for a few years, doing everything from designing and prototyping products through providing product support post-market launch. Product design, and specifically designing products that fulfill your customer needs, is something that I’ve always been passionate about since my undergraduate days. Outside of school, my favorite activities are reading good books (fantasy and sci-fi are high on my list), playing board games (social deduction games are my favorite), going hiking, and practicing martial arts.
