Hello! I am Angana, a MEng Bioengineering student at UC Berkeley and an aspiring issue-sensitive biomedical entrepreneur, from Kolkata, India. I completed my Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology degree at Amity University Kolkata. I believe, Bioengineering is a promising, resolute, and versatile vocation, yet what intrigues me most about it, is the confluence of a scientific core, an engineer’s skills, an entrepreneur’s mind, and philanthropic heart, which drives my enthusiasm and love for the domain. I aspire to develop targeted therapeutics for chronic diseases while bridging the gap of biomedical innovations from bench-top to bedside, yielding to the availability of effective and affordable therapeutics for chronic diseases especially to the common mass of the global community. As a lead, I am excited to share my passion of bio-innovations with the cohort. I am a huge music enthusiast and a trained singer in classical who really enjoys performing. My other interests lie in cooking, thrillers, traveling and exploring.”
