Hello everyone! My name is Colin Yang and I am pursuing a MEng degree in mechanical engineering here at UC Berkeley. I was born in San Francisco and have lived around ten years in South Korea before moving back to California. As a UC Santa Barbara alumni, I spent my undergraduate years studying mechanical engineering, working in the machine shop, and soaking in the sun at the beach. When it came to choosing what I wanted to focus on at Berkeley, product design was the natural choice based on my passion for art and experience working with consumer goods. Outside of school, I spend my time drawing, playing the bass guitar, and practicing taekwondo.
