Yousef is a ‘third-culture kid’ who was raised in over 16 countries and is pursuing an MEng degree in Material Science and Engineering. In 2019, he graduated with a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Sunderland in the UK.His Academic Career included 3D printing feasibility study and distribution of modular environment, leading a formula student chassis and radiator team and founding the formative IMechE chapter in Malaysia. His Experience as a Machine Design Engineer and Business Developer on Key FIFA World cup projects highlighted the importance of material consideration and reaction in everyday engineering leading to a quest to develop renewable and sustainable innovations. In his free time, Yousef enjoys stepping outside his comfort zone by experimenting with new recipes, meeting new people, backpacking and exploring the city for hidden gems!
