Xavier Zamora is a visual journalist with more than two decades of experience behind the camera. He earned a B.A. with a double major in Journalism and Television, Film and Media at Cal State Los Angeles, where he honed his love for multimedia storytelling.
Most recently, Xavier reported for The Intersection, a health equity news outlet covering California’s Central Valley, alongside independent work in video production and post-production.
He is currently pursuing a Master of Journalism at UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism, with a concurrent Graduate Certificate in Applied Data Science. At Berkeley, he focuses on merging visual storytelling with data-driven reporting, applying a journalist’s eye to every project he shoots.
