Tony Yang
Affinity Group Leader - Sustainable Energy
I am a Master of Engineering (MEng) student specializing in Materials Science and Engineering. I completed my undergraduate degree in Applied Science with a focus in Materials Engineering at the University of British Columbia (UBC).
Previously, I worked as an R&D engineer at Mustang Survival, where I conducted testing on material properties and product performance under sub-zero conditions. I also have hands-on experience with battery technology, particularly in developing and evaluating pre-treatment methods to enable reusable battery separators.
Outside of academics, I enjoy reading, playing basketball, and building small engineering projects in my free time.
