Continuing Lecturer

Susan is a member of the Professional Faculty at UC Berkeley where she serves as a Continuing Lecturer in the Coleman Fung Institute for Engineering Leadership in the College of Engineering at UC Berkeley. She teaches “Communications for Engineering Leaders” in the Masters and PhD programs. She also is a continuing lecturer in Leadership, Communications & Coaching across the EWMBA, EMBA, MBA, and Undergraduate Programs at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.

Additionally, Susan is an instructor for “High Impact Leadership”, “Advanced Executive Presence” “Berkeley Executive Leader Program” for UC Berkeley Executive Education, and has taught in many of their custom programs.

Currently, she serves as COO and lead faculty of the Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute. Previously, she led global engineering and operations teams across manufacturing, sourcing, and supply chain.

As a Communications Consultant, Executive Coach, and Electrical Engineer, Susan brings over 15 years of high-tech engineering and operations experience to her work. Working globally with Fortune 500 Companies as an executive coach and workshop leader, Susan focuses on empowering leaders to embrace their authentic selves, realize their full potential, and inspire their teams and organizations to achieve their highest capabilities.

Susan earned her bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from University College Cork, Ireland, and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. She is also a certified Executive Coach from the Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute.

Originally from Ireland and now based in the U.S., Susan is a seasoned cross-cultural communicator who is dedicated to working with people to uncover their passions, explore their values, move past their obstacles, and build a fulfilling personal and professional life.

Outside of the office, you can find Susan searching for outdoor adventures, enjoying travelling with her family and entertaining with friends.
