Mohammad is a PhD student in the Applied Science & Technology program at UC Berkeley, where his research bridges computational biology, protein design, and artificial intelligence. His work focuses on developing transformer and graph neural network–based models for understanding protein function, variant pathogenicity, and microbiome interactions.
