Mike is a graduate student in the civil engineering/city planning dual degree program at UC Berkeley, His studies center on the field of transportation and he hopes to contribute to the development of public transportation in the US. Prior to attending UC Berkeley, Mike taught high school math, science, and engineering in the Bay Area and Los Angeles. He served as a department chair and directed multiple school programs throughout his career.
Mike earned a master’s degree in education from the University of Notre Dame while serving as a teaching fellow in the Alliance for Catholic Education and has a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
