Elisa Gonzalez is a current MEng student studying Bioengineering in the Biomaterials and Biomedical Devices concentration. She grew up in San Ramon, CA and has lived in the East Bay area for her whole life. In 2023, she graduated with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from UC Davis. Throughout her time there, she worked as a Pediatric Research Assistant for the UC Davis Medical Center, was Vice President of the Biomedical Engineering Society, and Ambassador of the Leadership Engineering Advancement Diversity and Retention Program. Elisa loves the MEng program because of the many graduate student resources, networking opportunities, and supportive student and faculty community she has found in her time here so far. Elisa hopes to work in the medical device industry as a R&D Engineer when she graduates from the MEng program in May 2025. In her free time, Elisa enjoys playing piano and ukulele, dancing, and doing escape rooms with her friends.
