Affinity Group Leader - Inclusive Tech
Derek Xu is a Master of Engineering student at UC Berkeley studying Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences. He completed his undergraduate degree in Computer Science at UC Irvine, where he participated in undergraduate research and helped lead a club aiming to bring knowledge of AI to various disciplines. Derek is also one of the leaders of the MEng Affinity Group for Inclusive Technology this year, where he helps other MEng students develop professional and networking skills. After receiving his MEng, Derek’s goal is to work as a software engineer at a technology company.
