Hi everyone! I’m Bharath, a Master of Engineering student in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Control of Robotic and Autonomous Systems at UC Berkeley. I recently graduated from IIT Madras with a degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, where I worked extensively on the design and development of high-performance marine vessels, including research and publications in the field.
At Berkeley, my work spans across water, air, and land; ranging from deep learning–based energy prediction for quadrotors to terrain adaptation policies for humanoids using reinforcement learning and diffusion models.
Outside of academics, I’m passionate about Formula 1, the NBA, and soccer. I also enjoy writing poetry and short stories, exploring film theory and screenwriting, and playing soccer with friends.
