For the last 10 years, I have partnered with leaders in organizations to successfully build teams for fast growth start-ups in the Bay Area. Industries include: location-based mobile marketing, online publishing, SaaS, impact investing, sustainable energy and ecommerce. I’ve improved hiring processes and practices, humanized the candidate experience (from application to offer) and elevated the career brand. I am a problem solver known for running ongoing mini-experiments, quickly unearthing insights into hiring problems, and applying practical nudges that improve talent acquisition outcomes.
I’ve coached emerging leaders helping them improve their self-awareness and communication skills and develop strategies that lead to stronger employer-employee working partnerships. I’ve coached both early and mid-career women in career transition – industry and role – guiding them in identifying values, skills and competencies, and encouraging them to stay the course and find their “fit.”
Originally from Cambridge, England, I received my undergraduate degree from Oxford Brookes University in Psychology and Sociology, and my first graduate degree from Johns Hopkins University in Counseling. I am currently pursuing a graduate degree in Business Psychology from the School of Business and Economics at Loughborough University in the United Kingdom (expected October 2019). I am a Board Certified Coach. I’ve lived and worked on both coastlines of the USA and in Southeast Asia.
