Health Track Fellows had the opportunity to tour the Garfield Innovation Center at Kaiser Permanente with Gary Waymire, Director of Innovation Consultancy. Waymire shared insights on applying innovation to facilities, processes, patient care, and technology, highlighting essential tools for effective prototype creation. The Garfield Center is one of several Kaiser Permanente innovation entities and has been a space where they have tested, mocked up and simulated many health care innovation projects.
