The Health + Innovation cohort was joined by Veenu Aulakh, Executive Director of the Medical Innovation Collaborative/Advisors; Danielle Bicknell, Founder & CEO of Dab Collab and Financial Feminist, and Startup Advisor; and Andrew Lindbloom, Policy & Partnership Lead at Pear Suite and UC Berkeley School of Public Health, for a discussion on human-centered design and its intersection with policy, equity, and health outcomes. They delved into different multifaceted uses of HCD, including understanding disparities, equity, policy, and stakeholders, alignment with interdisciplinary work, and leveraging design to transcend policy limitations, while working collaboratively and in parallel with one another.
