East Bay Archival and Archeological Research with Aaron Goldstein

Aaron Goldstein, a licensed architect, architectural historian, and founder of the East Bay Urban Tank House Map, joined Fellows as a guest speaker to share his research on historic water tanks in the East Bay. This once-essential infrastructure was used to pump groundwater into neighborhoods throughout the region but has largely faded from the landscape, with many remaining tanks repurposed into storage spaces or creative living areas. Fellows explored how infrastructure shapes communities and gained hands-on experience using CAD software for mapping and infrastructure design.
