Congratulations to the Fung Institute’s Faculty Director, Lee Fleming, along with Debbie Strumsky at University of North Carolina at Charlotte and Matt Marx at MIT! The paper they wrote together titled “Mobility, Skills, and the Michigan Non-Compete Experiment” was selected as the best paper published in 2009 at Management Science, winning this year’s INFORMS Technology Management Best Paper Competition.
As the winners of the competition, they will be presented with a plaque at the INFORMS Technology Management Business meeting on November 10th during the INFORMS Annual Meeting, in San Francisco. They have also been invited to present their winning work and their research building thereon at INFORMS in a special session on Tuesday, November 11th.
