Lunar Kinetic Energy Transmission Illustration

Lunar Kinetic Energy Transmission

February 3, 2023 by

Team: Vu Vuong (ME), Scott Ziegler (ME), Gary Li (ME)

Advisor(s): Van Carey

For the project brief, our team would like to address not only the general audience but also the professional people with space background knowledge (subject matter experts, engineering students). We want our audience to know how large the potential market on the moon is, why it is important to find a solution for power distribution, what our solution looks like, what does our prototype look like, and how our idea can be applied on the moon with cheaper price compared to the traditional method. The possible limitation is that even though the visual aid can help demonstrate our solution, it is still hard to explain some details behind the idea. The current visual aid is a little bit abstract, but it will have multiple iterations before presenting to make sure that the message is conveyed.
