The Business of Engineering Leadership

In the first semester, analyze real business situations through case studies dealing with such topics as marketing, negotiations, organizational behavior, project management, ethics, accounting, finance and intellectual property. Additionally, the course features an “industry strategy project,” designed to illuminate a future industry change that draws from technical capabilities and a multidisciplinary analysis. In the second semester, explore fundamental operational, leadership, and financial concepts relevant to technology-driven enterprises by studying such topics as advanced finance, quantitative marketing, entrepreneurship, law, governance and structure.
